Diorama: nazi occult bunker complex.

It is no secret that im interested in old war mystisism. Like the nazi interest in the occult and the research they did in it. I want to build a diorama (maybe 40x40cm or 30x30) with several levels. A bunker complex with different floors so i can get more details in to the dio without making it to large.

I was thinking of a type of machine that was intended to be used as a opener to another dimension. Like in the "wolfenstein" game or like the movie "outpost" witch is a movie i liked very much. Both of these are a great source of my inspiration. But mostly it comes from a documentary i saw that was about nazi research about the zero gravity engine, the bell or "die glocke".

The bell is the name of a purported top secret nazi scientific technological device. The Bell is said to be an experiment carried out by third reich scientists working for the ss in a German facility known as Der Riese ("The Giant")

The device is described as metallic, approximately 9 feet wide and 12 to 15 feet high with a shape similar to a bell. It contained two counter-rotating cylinders filled with a substance similar to mercury that glowed violet when activated, known only as Xerum 525 it has been speculated to be red mercury. When active, The Bell would emit strong radiation, which led to the death of several scientists and various plant and animal test subjects.

It was intended to be used as an flying machine that defies normal gravity. Or there is many theories out there on what the real use was. I can go on and on about this stuff. But what i was thinking of is to make a dio that has to do with this stuff.

The thing about the bell device is that the shape of it (if it ever flew that is) is that it is around that time the ufo sitings from that area started to appear. Did the nazi's really make it fly? Who knows. But i really like to think they did. After the war it is claimed that the americans stole the project and as many know "the roswell incident" Ufo sitings became well known after that. And as every one knows the us military is the most secretive in the world.

And most of the new aeroplanes usa made after the war they can thank the older nazi scientists, cus most of the designs and research was made by the germans in the war. Planes such as the flying wing and the f117a where helped by german research. The united states imigrated many of the pre nazi scientists to the states to help them continue the research and benefit their country. The project for the imigration of these pre nazi scientists was called "project paperclip"

But it was allso speculated that the nazi bell was said to be extremly dangerous, causing illness, mutation and death in animal possibly human subjects.
Another theory is that it was a torsion field generator that was intended for time travel. I have more faith in the flying theories than the others.

Any help or ideas on how it should look like is greatly appreciated.

A little new idea on the nazi what if diorama.

Tamiya 58001 porsche repair project.

As the title says, ive got my hands on a 58001 tamiya rc car. Or to be more acurate the car is owned by a customer from where i work. It has seen its better days. It got accidentally sat uppon :/. So ive gotten the mission to restore it to its former glory:D

It has some missing parts on the shell, but im replacing them with new ones and restoring broken of bits.

As you see here i have put new plastic on it. The grey is pieces i have replaced with new self made parts.



Here it is stripped to the bones. At this moment it is even more parted on these photos. Fenders, lights, grills everything has been taken of. Have done some sanding to smoothen out some lumps, will paint it soon to look for more unevenlynesseseseseserities. Might even have to bring forth the spackle.

And then the rust painting has finally been started. It looks pretty satisfactory at this stage. Will post more soon:D Dry brushed it with rust like blended color.


And here is a photo of the paint job:) But the horrible ligthing in the room does not show you the real effect that the paint has. Will take another one when there is daylight outside. Its going to be exciting when i am going to start the detailing.

I have started the painting with the base color. Next step will be the main color. Im going to paint it i a nicely grey green color from tamiya (as-29).

Russian KV2.

Just bought the tamiya Russian kv2 tank. Easy to build i must say. I might have to get some metal tracks so it looks more realistic. Because the rubber tracks just don't fall like i want them to. But otherwise i am pretty sattisfied with the looks of it. Changed the wires to the light and horn in the front from the original plastic. Thought it looked more realistic that way.

A new project. Morser "Loki"

Just picked up my new Morser from dragon. And it looks impressive. Bigger than i originally thought. So putting this thing together is going to be awesome.

Here it is next to a Tiger. Huuuuge!

And this is how far ive come at this moment. Still have a lot of parts left before it is finished.

The E-100 Super Heavy Tank.

Here is my E-100 model tank with some history.

In May 1945 at the Henschel tank proving ground and development centre near Kassel, an enormous experimental heavy tank was discovered by the Allied forces. It weighed approximately 138 tons,with its external features resembling the Tiger Model B tank, but with increased length and width, heavier armour plate, wider tracks and a new suspension system The E-100 heavy tank that the Allies had found was the most advanced of an entirely new series of tanks witch the German weapons procurement department had initiated in mid-1943.

Known as the E-Series, its purpose was ultimately to replace all the current tanks with a new group of standardized vehicles, E-10, E-25, E-50, E-100, incorporating all the improvements learned from five years AFV combat. However, by the end of the war only one prototype was ever buildt.

The E-100 was to have been armed with the same weapons as "Maus" in the same krupp turret, although one was never fitted, the tank was to have been powered by a Maybach 12 cylinder "V" type engine, developing 700hp, though for initial testing a normal Tiger B H1 230 P30 engine was fitted. With tracks nearly 102 cm wide.

Here are some claimed specs:

Weight: 140,000kg.
Dimensions: Length - 10.27m Height (over turret hatch) - 3.29m Width 4.48m.
Armament: Main - 17.2cm Secondary 7.92mm machine-gun.
Armour: maximum 240mm.
Powerplant: Maybach HL234, v12 petrol, 700hp (for trails only)
Performance: - 40kph/24.9mph Range 120km.

As you can see here the E-100 next to a tiger and the T-34 in the same scale.



Really enjoyed putting this one together. But i havent painted the tracks yet and there is still some weathering effects left to do. Hope you liked the info and the photos.
