Just got delivered some more alloy parts. As seen on the rear and front + the clutch housing.

Next will be the kraken class 1 cage + fender and roof rack from kraken also. Waiting for some more drivetrain parts to make it more durable for the obr power :) No axles are installed in the photos.

Hpi baja 5t rebuild.

Jupp. I am at it again. This time the team chase cage will go and be replaced by the kraken class 1 cage. I wanted a more 1/1 look so i felt this was the best one. Pluss it looks just ridiculous good.

And i dismantled the car and removed all aluminium that was colored and stripped of the paint with kaustik soda and polish. As i want to go for a more clean look.

A photo of the kraken class 1 cage. (Just an illustration, not mine)

Some stuff to remove the worn colors :)

This is after the treatment.

After some polish.

The pipe got some treatment aswell :)

Stay tuned, next will be photos of it put on the car again.

Cheers. And merry X-mas to all :)

Hpi baja 5t build project update. O'neill brothers 30.5cc pro mod engine.

Back again with another update. This time the O'neill brothers 30.5cc pro mod engine is installed. Cant tell you how pleased i am with this build. Got a wt 990 carburetor on in. It started on 3 pulls. And this is without a choke as the carburetor dont have one.

The warning suits the engine hehe.

Car size compared to a 0.5 ltr bear can. It was emty at the moment the photo was taken :)

Hi guys. Been a while now. So time for a little update on one of my projects :) This time the baja is up. This is a 1/5 scale rc petrol car. That i am custom building to how i want it. Lots of aluminium has gone on it. Flm aluminium arms, silverback and hostileracing beadlocks, hostileracing mx nightmare tires. Team chase cage. Modified shocks with piggybacks. lighting. 1" hub extenders front and rear. Superbee killswitch (a serious must on these things) got a O'neill brothers pro mod 30.5cc engine on the way with a victory pro side mounted pipe. More mods will come. :) The engine in these photos is the original with a 30.5 race ported kit. New update to come soon :)

Trumpeter 1/16 T-34/76 part three.

Back with yet another  update ;)

  Engine and transmission compartment.

Here i cut out the old mounting plastic for the big hatch that you can see on the right in the photo.

Here i made the piece that the rear hatch will be mounted on. Will drill small holes for the hatch bolts.

Here it is attached.

Going to modify the plastic so it will fit perfect. This is what the hatch in real life rests on and is full of wholes where the bolts go through. On the hatch you can see the original plastic that is was glued to. But i decided to have the possibility to open the hatch so the interior could be viewed.

More to come......
